Pictures From Above

Looks like my picture taking theme for this week has been pictures from above.

Here's one from the best NFL game I've ever gone to (though others around here my disagree :-)

The seats may have not been that great, but to be there for that finish... seeing Elam run out while the clock ticked down to tie the game, then to see Favres' 82 yard touchdown pass.  Wow!

Cheering for the visitors at Mile High is usually pretty tough - but with cheers of Go! Pack! Go! filling the stadium and being surrounded by Packers fans made wearing my AJ Hawk jersey much less intimidating.

Then today Denver held it's rally for the Rockies... which just happen to be a block over and a block up from the office.  Here's what it looked like from my office window:

Some other interesting things about my view - if you look close, you can see Pepsi Center and Mile High toward the top.  This picture is looking west from my office, if I look east I have a view of Coors Field.  So basically from my window I can see three out of four of Denver's pro sports arenas (the Rapids play in a new stadium up north).  Also, the construction site across the street from the rally will soon be the "Four Seasons Private Residences" which will be one of the tallest buildings downtown... blocking my view of Mt. Evans :-(
