NewsGator Consumer Products Are Free at Last

Yes, you read that headline correctly. NewsGator has always been about getting the information you want delivered when and where you want it, with many options for you to keep up with the latest news, sports, entertainment, video, weather, or anything else that matters to you.

And today, our heavy-duty, popular, award-winning desktop readers for Windows, Macintosh and Outlook and our mobile readers are all available for download at our website at no cost.

If you have a NewsGator account, don’t waste any time upgrading to the reader that suits you best.

If you use Windows, choose FeedDemon 2.6. The popular, CNet-editor’s-choice reader has all kinds of cool features that facilitate feed reading, whether you’re deep-researching a topic or keeping track of updates to websites and blogs you follow regularly.

Mac users should upgrade to NetNewsWire 3.1. Like FeedDemon, the Eddy-Award-Winning product has powerful features that allow users to save time searching for content on the Web and facilitate research.

If you’re an Outlook user, pick the Inbox 3.0 beta option to integrate your feeds with Outlook.

FeedDemon, NetNewsWire and Inbox are desktop readers, which mean they reside on your computer. But each product comes with a NewsGator Online account that synchronizes your feeds so you can read them remotely and not have to read anything twice.

NewsGator has its own iPhone interface, so if you have an iPhone or any other phone, go to our mobile reader page to set up your phone account.

Blackberry and Windows Mobile Device users should choose NewsGator Go! For Mobile. Your free NewsGator Online account includes an Edit Locations page, which lets you choose which feeds you want for your mobile device.

And don’t forget to check out our Free News Tools Page to further improve your RSS experience. NewsGator Toolbar, for instance, finds feeds on web pages and subscribes you to them with a click of the mouse. NewsGator Desktop runs in your system tray and pops up to display the latest stories to keep you on top of important news.

The time has never been better to take advantage of NewsGator’s wide array of products and let RSS make your web-searching so much more productive.

What are you waiting for? Upgrade now to the NewsGator product that best suits your needs. For more information and answers to questions about how these changes will affect your existing account, go to this FAQ page.

Thanks for offering this free! I'm updating my NetNewsWire Lite right now.

Awesome! I've been loving NewsGator. So we've got Windows, Mac, iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile... How about Palm/Treo users?

Jeannie, there are a few models of Treos that run Windows Mobile, and they will work, but there is no support for the Palm OS. Sorry, Leland
