NewsGator's offerings have always been popular overseas, even back in 2002 and 2003, when NewsGator encompassed Greg Reinacker building and selling NewsGator Outlook Edition (re-christened NewsGator Inbox last year). Last year, we formally expanded internationally, announcing deals in Japan with GMO Group and Agrex. This morning, we hop across the other "pond" with the unveiling of NewsGator Europe.
Some of our earliest NewsGator Enterprise Server (NGES) customers were based in Western Europe, but we've seen the pace of activity pick up significantly there over the last six months, both for NGES and more recently, NewsGator Enterprise On-Demand (NGEOD). The organization, which is based in the Netherlands, and headed up by three ex-Microsoft executives and technology veterans will help us further accelerate European market adoption of our Enterprise and Private Label solutions.
We're primarily working through an indirect channel, at least initially, so Andre and team have started working with value-added resellers (VARs). If you are a software VAR based in Europe and you're interested in speaking with us about being a partner in Europe, please send us an e-mail. Look for more announcements about European momentum in the coming months.
