We've added some new functionality to NewsGator Online, allowing users to choose the way they view their articles. We now offer a choice of Headlines, Summaries (new) and Full Posts views. The aim of these new views is to enable you to quickly look through large numbers of posts without having to scroll for hours This should allow you too read more relevant information, and easily skip posts that don't interest you. The reader defaults to the Summaries view. To toggle between the different views, click on the "Display Options" menu at the top of the screen. (See graphic below for more details).

Very nice additions, but I wonder if I like the adds that much! It is annoying that if you have one single message in a RSS-feed you get 5 Google Ads which are much longer (height) what results in unnecessary white space.
Secondly I experience some old messages....(I saw one of April 2006!) that reappear. And not only in one RSS-feeds but in more than one. Channel 9 (Microsoft) and De Balie (Dutch) and Frankwatching still have this problem of showing a single message twice a day, while I have read it!
Nevertheless keep up the good work, but hope you have some new better solutions to the above mentioned problems!

I like the additional display options, but I'm unable to determine how to set up a default display option. I use Newsgator to view feeds of new photos on Flickr.com. As such, I prefer to view the full post so I can get a thumbnail of the photos in Newsgator without having to go to Flickr. I can easily select Display Options and view the full posts, but for some reason this doesn't assign a default value for subsequent sessions. I must do this every time I log into Newsgator. Perhaps I'm missing something, but if not I hope you'll consider adding default views by account.
Regards,
Kevin
